Mississippi Grind es una comedia dramática dirigida y escrita por la dupla integrada por Anna Boden y Ryan Fleck quienes en 2006 escribieron la cinta “Half Nelson”.
La película Mississippi Grind cuenta con las actuaciones de Ryan Reynolds, Ben Mendelsohn, Sienna Miller y Analeigh Tipton.
Teniendo una racha de mala suerte y enfrentando dificultades financieras, Gerry (Mendelsohn) hace equipo con un carismático jugador de poker, Curtis (Reynolds), en un intento por cambiar su suerte. Los dos emprenden un viaje por carreterra por el sur de los Estados Unidos con visiones de recuperar lo que han perdido.
